I don’t recall making this change but for some reason the whole of my iCloud Drive is showing up in my global inbox. Is there a safe way to stop this?
As indicated by the small Finder property icon to the right of the name, you have indexed that folder. That is nothing DEVONthink would do on its own.
Move it to the database’s Trash, then choose DEVONthink 3 > Empty Trash. Choose Only In Database when prompted.
I see. I am sure I did it… Just not sure how I did it. Thanks for helping me un-did-it.
You’re welcome
@BLUEFROG Devonthink can not display any images that are stored at iCloud, but referenced inside of the Devonthink. If I right click, select show in finder and then open the image from the finder it displays fine. But inside of Devonthink I just get a blank window.
I tried to move them into the database using the DevonThink move into database option, but that fails with a “you don’t have permission”.
Is this a side effect of making the above change? Or something else?
Did you remove the indexed group and empty the database’s Trash per the previous instructions?
Also, does DEVONthink have Full Disk Access in System Settings > Privacy & Security?
I did the first. I will try the second right after coffee. Thanks.
Thanks. That was it. DevonThink was listed, but the toggle was off.
You’re welcome.
