If I select a group, is it possible to list fields at the top of the documents list like in Finder?

For example in Finder I can see name, Date modified, Date Created, Size, kind etc etc and can resort simply by clicking on the field.

Is such a setup possible with DT?

Sure, List view (see e.g. View menu) supports all kinds of columns.
