# Images in Chat?

Would it be possible to paste Images into a Chat session?

Many LLM models are multi-modal and do well interpreting the contents of images

Images have been supported since version 4.0. Just select them in the item list.

I am suggesting the ability to paste from the cliipboard an image that is not currently in the Devonthink database.

For example I might want to take a screenshot of some aspect of the UI and ask about it.

Or I might want to paste a list of URLs from a web search and ask the Chat to use a Skill to import those
