Import e-Mail in DT

Hello, a lot of my work is done via emails, which I like to import into DT (often it’s just about the attachments).

Importing is such a hassle (currently I also always have issues with DT hanging and not responding).

Are there other workflows in DT to import the email or attachments? Also, is there any way to do it automatically when I tag an email, which then gets sorted automatically. Is there a function like forwarding the email to DT (similar to Evernote)?

No forwarding
I use an Applescript, a revision of the script provided by DT
It runs on schedule, importing all the tagged email/attachments

  • Does DEVONthink have Full disk access and all Automation requests for DEVONthink 3 in System Settings > Privacy & Security?
  • Is the Apple Mail plugin installed and enabled?
