Import from mail fails

Hi guys, i understand plug in for mail has been deprecated and I’m trying to drag and drop from mail IMAP inbox to DT3 db but the log report “some messages failed to import”.
Tried to rebuild the inbox already but no success

  • Does DEVONthink have Full Disk Access and its Automation requests allowed in System Settings > Privacy & Security?
  • Have you tried dropping an email to the Finder, then into DEVONthink?

Thanks, Privacy was granted. I tried through Finder and actually worked. A bit disappointing behaviour/workflow but at least does the job

Hold the Option key and choose Help > Report bug to start a support ticket so we can look at the log files.

Just ran into this myself. I was about to write that it would be nice to have a better flow around this, and that it should be easy to reproduce by turning off full-disk access. Then I decided I should try to reproduce it myself before making such an assertion. I was surprised to discover that after turning it back off and restarting DT mail dragging continued to work. So there is something else going on here. Sending my logs in a bug report. I hope this helps get to the bottom of the issue.
