In Mail, I have separate folders for particular matters. Whenever an email arrives in Inbox, I move it to the appropriate folder, same for emails sent.
In DT3, View>Import, I first see the list of Mail folders. I clicked on the folder I wanted to import - 154 emails - whereupon all the individual emails appear. How do I view the content of each email? is the only way Cmd+Y>
Having clicked import, the emails go into my selected DT3 database inbox, I select all, and tag them all with the same tag: in DT3 i use smart groups. However, all the emails have been put in separate folders (groups) according to the subject of each email which I hadn’t asked for/ How to I avoid that happening? As it is I am now having to drag each email from these unwanted folders into the DT Inbox.
