Import multipart email properly

I have a significant corpus of email messages that I wanted to get a handle on. I thought DEVONthink might do the job.

No.

If you import a mail message that is multipart/alternative, it imports neither part, leaving only a ? in the body of the message.

It might have been so useful, too.

How did you try to import the mails? Using scripts? The scripting possibilities of Apple’s Mail are limited but an mbox import will come (as this is the standard unix mailbox format - probably the only standardized mailbox format at all).
