When I import PDFs and other files into Devon, I end up with a mess, because import makes copies of these files. In Bookends, it is possible to move and rename a file, a “leave no footsteps” approach to importing files. Especially the ScanSnap files are difficult, because they have these awkward file names. It’d be even nicer to have a “Move to DevonThink” option as a contextual menu item in the finder, in addition to the existing “copy”-import.
You can do this using Automator. Create the workflow you want and save it as a Finder plugin.
