Can you play the filter with another program (right click and “Open with..”)?
It is an MPEG-4 movie file that I want to play directly in DT4. It is a video downloaded from the internet via Alfred 5 (Download Media, workflow) that plays correctly in VLC but not in QuickTime Player

You’re right. He included a homemade video in the DT4 database and it plays correctly. The problem I’m having is with the videos downloaded from the internet (via Alfred 5). I will ask in the Alfred Forum. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you very much.
Alfred just uses the download software on your Mac. It surely is not the root cause.
No trouble at all. If the video has DRM on it, it may not play.
This is certainly neither a DT nor an Alfred issue. Just play the movie in VLC, if it plays there. If Quicktime can’t play it, you have to live with that.
