I am playing around with indexing an external folder that I also use in iA Writer. A file created in DEVONthink updates immediately in the Finder and iA Writer interface. The opposite is not true. Content changes do update immediately. I have tried the command to “Update Indexed Items” several times but nothing updates. If I move the items to the trash and start again, the new files do show up. What am I doing wrong?
And have you emptied the database’s Trash?
