Indexed PDFs?

Some very large PDFs have indexes built in -
When displayed in Preview the index is listed in the Sidebar - These indexes have titles or names that associate to a giving page in the file and when selected automatically moves you to that page;

When I import such a file into DT, it seems to lose the index; Does anybody know if there is a way to preserve it or it’s use in DT?

DEVONthink doesn’t modify files while importing/indexing (only OCR does) but does not yet support the table of contents of PDF documents.

got it; need to open in Preview or Adobe to see the bookmarks/index…
