Inputting Scanned Documents

Tried to input scanned documents into my trial version of DTP - ScanSnap s1300i. The program did not recognize my scanner.

From further study, I believe that I would need to have DTP Office to use a scanner to input documents. Is this conclusion correct or do I have to adjust the SS Manager to work with DTP?

DEVONthink Pro Office can automatically adjust the ScanSnap manager, DEVONthink Pro doesn’t support this and doesn’t support OCR. Therefore you have to adjust the ScanSnap manager on your own to send the scans to DEVONthink Pro.
