Install DT4 but cannot see any settings for AI

I have upgraded license DT3 to DT4.
Then I started DT4 and played and saw some AI-related setting. But when restarting later DT these setting seems to be reverted to some DT 3 settings.
I now removed the DT3 install (to the bin) and restarted DT 4, but I still can find the AI parts?!

Any suggestions?

Which edition do you use?

I also dont see the initial welcome screen which I saw before.

I checked the license, it has shown the upgrade to 4 and oct 2026

And the edition (not version)? Only the Pro and Server editions support this. Or didn’t you register your copy yet?

I have clicked on the activate button in my web account page.

I have the normal version.

I have removed the DT4 install again and reinstalled. Same issue.

I can see some AI menu but cannot act on them.

This means that the app should be registered. But it’s still unclear which edition you bought, this should be shown on your account page too. The license is either called DEVONthink, DEVONthink Pro or DEVONthink Server.

It’s DEVONthink, 4.1.1,
The license begins with: DT3-AA… which is the same shown on account page and in DT4s “Registration DEVONthink” dialog box.

Then it’s the Standard edition which doesn’t include support for AI.
