iPad Files Not Available

I’ve been trying out LiquidText, and that’s the scenario that prompted this post, but I’ve noticed it with other apps as well. I’m sure (hoping, anyway) this is operator error. Files in my DTTG folder in Files are grayed out and display a red icon with a white line. They are not available to open, though, according to every podcaster I listen to (Sparks, in particular), they should be available to other apps.

Am I misunderstanding what MacSparky is saying? What am I missing?

Are these files available in DEVONthink To Go or do you have to download them first?

That was it. I just need to make sure the files I want to access in LiquidText are downloaded in DEVONthink To Go. Thank you!

Indeed! Shallowly synced files, i.e., ones with only metadata that haven’t been downloaded, have certain restrictions since the files aren’t wholly present.
