Hi everyone,
I am excited to be just starting out on my DT journey and was wondering
Is it safe to close my Mac mini down whilst DT3 is still open?

Well, I just initiated an OS update with several databases open. Doing that or doing a reboot or just just doing a proper shutdown has never been a problem for my open databases.

Safe? Possibly. Recommended? No. If you’re going to shut down or reboot, it’s best to gracefully close DEVONthink. This is especially true as DEVONthink will try to deal with any unfinished business before it quits, e.g., finishing a sync process.
