I went through manuals and google searches, with no results.
Click and Drago doesn’t work, but I would like to change the order of the groups that appear in my sidebar under “Favorites”.
Is there a way to do it?

No, it is not possible to sort the Favorites. They will only sort alphabetically.
My favorites are not alphabetized but I would like them to be. They are in the chronological order I added them to Favorites. I have looked for how to alphabetize Favorites but not found the answer in Preferences, DT3 help, “Take Control of DT3”, this forum…I’m sure it’s simple but I can’t find it. I have selected Sort by name in the gear at the bottom of the sidebar, while it sort the other items, it doesn’t affect Favorites. TIA
How about dragging your favorites into the order you want them to be in?
