When I try and use the screen capture toolbar app at the top of my Mac screen for the last few months the drop down box has become see through, so I cannot see the icons, for area, fill screen etc. The other tasks, new note, voice note etc are all fine. I’ve done the usual, quit DT3 etc but it I cannot fix it. I’ve also done a clean install this week and it is still there. I am using 3.9.8 and Sequoia 15.2. Any thoughts? Thanks
Is DEVONthink allowed to performed screen recording, see System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen & System Audio Recording?
Welcome @Ian23
Were you clipping something tall and narrow?
If so, there is a known issue with the screen capture function in the Sorter and it will be fixed in the next maintenance release. In the meantime, do this…
- Quit DEVONthink.
- In the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library.
- Go into Application Support/DEVONthink 3/UnifiedCapture. Your image should be there.
- Move the image out of this directory, e.g., to your desktop or to the Global Inbox’s alias.
- Relaunch DEVONthink.
Hi, the issue was that when I clicked the DT3 menu bar screen capture icon, the drop-down box did not show properly, and I could not see or therefore select any of the options. I decided to uninstall DT3, reboot, and reinstall, and this time it cleared the issue. All a bit odd, but it is fixed now. Thanks.
