I was trying to restore my database from time machine and when it went to start the restore it said I did not have permissions. I then when into the time machine backup and tried to copy the database to my desktop, again permissions.
I opened the backup from the time machine volume in Devonthink pro and the database opened as read only.
What is the proper way to restore my database from time machine? I wanted to get rid of the copy I had and overlay it with what was in time machine
I am an admin on my computer.
