Keeping Smart Rules, Smart Groups, Favorites synced between Mac seats

I use DT on two different Macs and ideally would like both to have the same set of Smart Rules, Smart Groups, and Favorites on both. (Essentially the same environment on both.)

I already have syncing set up for the database itself, which has been working fine.

I have been able to export and then import Smart Groups and Smart Rules, but it definitely adds workflow friction to then need to remember to export a new group or rule and then import it to the other Mac.

For Favorites it seems I just need to go in and find the same item on the other Mac and mark it as a favorite.

Is there any way to keep these automatically in sync?

There is also a Favorites.plist file. And no, there’s no built-in mechanism to “automatically keep them in sync”. Those settings belong to the application, not a database, so they’re not synced between devices.
