Latest update (3.7) crashes immediately at startup

My app updated this morning to 3.7. After launching it, I briefly saw a graphic that said “Upgrading database”, and then the app closed. Now the app crashes everytime it is launched. No UI is ever displayed before it crashes.

Device: iPhone 11 Pro
OS: 16.5
App Version: 3.7 (as shown in App Store)

My account can’t attach a file, so I can’t add a complete IPS debug file. Here is the relevant info from the report:

I had a similar issue where I couldn’t attach a file to an email after updating. I restarted my phone, and then it worked.

I meant that I can’t attach a file to this forum thread. :blush: But I did restart my phone for kicks and the app still crashes when launched.

Issues like crashes should be reported to our support ticket system.

This issue is being experienced by a few people and is under investigation.

  1. Go into iOS/iPadOS’ Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data.
  2. Select the most recent .ips file with DEVONtech in the name.
  3. Tap the Share menu button and choose Save to Files.
  4. Attach this file to your support ticket.

Good timing! I just found the ticketing system and created one with the latest IPS file attached. Ticket #606261.
