I’m wondering if Leap can “see” the tags inside DTPro databases. I haven’t had success with that yet.

No, Leap can’t see them as DEVONthink adds tags (to imported records) only on export, i.e. for imported records there are no tags visible in the Finder until the record is exported:

Is this an imported file? In that case a lot of attributes are only added when exporting the file, e.g. Finder comments, Finder tags and extended attributes.
