I just discovered DevonThink yesterday and have been testing it extensively as well as reading posts on this forum. Although I can think of some features that would make the application even better than it is I really love it.

Question: in a post somewhere I read that an acquired license needs to be renewed every month. How exactly does this work? I completely agree that software developers need to protect themselves against piracy but any imposed solution shouldn’t be a burden for honest buyers (like me).

I don’t think that’s the case – once registered, I think you’re done. What I believe you are recalling is the developer doing a favor for someone who was still evaluating the software.
