Link Concordance between IOS and OSX

I’ve been using the public beta of DTPO, and I’m ready to make the full plunge and purchase it and DTTG. I just want to make sure my use case is covered on the DTTG side before I purchase the app. Essentially, I’m collating two recent(ish) posts on the forum:

  1. I write exclusively in plaintext (markdown), and I’m wondering whether an item link (in the markdown 5 format), e.g., [DT Item name](DT item link), created on DTPO will work on DTTG?

  2. Using a workflow in Shortcuts, will I be able to click a link in at least some external markdown editors on IOS that will take me back to the linked item in DTTG?

I’m just looking for simple “yes” or “no” answers; I’m fully prepared to work on the how myself.

  1. Yes, as long as the database containing the linked file has been imported into DTTG.
  2. Maybe. It would depend on the workflow and what it’s actually doing.
