"Link To" menu of text selection

Hi,
When you select text in a pdf there is a “Link To” menu for linking the selected text to a chosen file in the database (using UUID). I’m wondering if it possible to automate this with a script, given that I provide a UUID (either in the script or a dialog asking for it)?

You can retrieve the cross-link URL via the “reference URL” property of records. However, it’s not yet possible to add/modify/delete annotations (including links) of PDF documents via AppleScript.

Hmm, ok. But is it possible to set a specific note to “Recent Destinations” of the context menu with an AppleScript?
