Local Sync Store with BitTorrent Sync

I was going to experiment with a local sync store using BitTorrent Sync (BTS). I came across an article with a setup example. http://alanduncan.me/blog/2015/04/04/synchonizing-devonthink-databases-across-machines/

I attached a screenshot with an example of the setup and the sync process, but I’m wondering if it’s correct.

(1) Has DT Support tested this before?

(2) Is it recommended as a sync option?

Local sync stores support only local, synchronous volumes/devices and therefore folders synchronized by other software are not recommended as they might and will cause troubles. That’s the reason why the latest release blocks known cloud folders.
