Lock Highlighter

Hey! Is there any way to make the highlighter work as it does in Preview, in which you can just highlight whatever text you select while having the highlighter on, without the need of more clicks/keyboard shortcuts? Having to select the text, right click, highlight, select color; or even just select the text, cmd+shift+L is a little more cumbersome than I would like.

No, this is not possible.
It may be in a future release, but no promises, of course.

Take a look at popclip app. They have an extension which is doing what you need - if you always highlight with one (default) colour.
