I have added a mail message to DTPO that has a multi-page pdf attachment. However, when the message is displayed in DTPO it shows only the first page of the pdf and there is no way of scrolling to the other pages. Is this behaviour expected?
Yes, that’s the expected behavior in the default display of email messages, which is by Quick Look.
To access an attachment, click on the Text Alternative button in the navigation bar immediately above the pane in which the message is displayed. The display will then be as rich text.
There’s an option in Preferences > Email to “Use alternative view” of messages, which will display them as rich text instead of by Quick Look.
