Each update of macOS disables it but not every update of DEVONthink includes an updated Mail plugin which would also disable it.

help me understand this issue fully @cgrunenberg

So it’s not the updates to DT3 which force us to re-check the box in Mail.app, but it’s rather the macOS updates?

I was under the impression that both updates would cause the issue to appear, but maybe I am wrong.

Care to confirm?

DEVONthink’s updates cause this only if they contain an updated Mail plugin which is not always the case. Updates of macOS always cause this.
