Strato and MagentaCloud (powered by Strato) are very fast but (or therefore) not always reliable, even if the uploads are verified by the sync. The mileage might vary but in cases like this the only solution is to use a more reliable cloud service like Dropbox or CloudMe.
Finally, it’s not possible to repair a sync store because it’s a stream of changes, not a copy of your database.
