Markdown annotation - incorrect rendering

I am doing some text transcriptions in a markdown annotation. Some lines of text have multiple instances of certain formatting (strikethrough, for example), but DT isn’t rendering the markdown correctly.

After making the strikethrough formatting TEXT, DT turns the second ~ in the end of the formatting black/hides it. I highlighted the text in the annotation to illustrate this:

Other markdown editors display the text correctly with the same formatting.

Welcome @acka22

Other markdown editors display the text correctly with the same formatting.

“Other markdown editors” aren’t equal. DEVONthink uses MultiMarkdown which also supports CriticMarkup.

This is helpful. Thanks!

You’re very welcome

And don’t forget the Format > Style menu and its shortcuts…

And the Editing Bar over the view edit pane…

Is there a reason that the closing style/formatting markers turn black (or hide), as mentioned above? This is still the case, for example, when using the Format > Style menu.

Just a cosmetic effect in dark mode. Nothing more. Development would have to assess it.

The next release will fix this glitch of the editor.
