Markdown Numbering in DEVONthink 4

I joined DEVONthink during the 3.x era, and after upgrading to DEVONthink 4, I noticed two significant issues with the numbering of Markdown files that do not meet my expectations:

  1. If there is no space after the serial number in a Markdown file, DEVONthink’s Preview mode will automatically remove the first character following the serial number. (This is evident in each line with a serial number in the example.)

  2. The Preview mode forcibly adapts to the automatic numbering syntax, ignoring the original serial numbers and resulting in incorrect numbering. (This is evident in the forth line of the example.)

Here is an example(Source mode on the left and Preview mode on the right):

Due to work reasons, many of my Markdown files come from colleagues, and they were not written using strict Markdown syntax. This issue has caused me a lot of trouble in using DEVONthink 4.

I would like to ask if anyone knows how to resolve these problem. Thank you to all for your responses.

Thank you for the bug report, we will investigate this issue.

And the next release will fix this.
