is there a way to import a mailbox of the mbox file type? i would like to be able to archive my emails in devonthink. is this possible, or will it be possible in the future?

I use Gyazmail (strange name) It uses the same folder structure as DT.
If you can’t do what You want with DT and Mail, Give Gyazmail a try.

Not yet, but you can use the supplied AppleScript scripts to import one or many mails to DEVONthink. If you don’t use Apple Mail, you can write your own AppleScript to accomplish this task.
