Minor request: add 'Open' to the Favourites context menu

Well, I hope it’s minor anyway…

I use the Favourites shelf in the Sidebar to lodge documents I’m working on between sessions – say to annotate a long pdf which takes week, or to consult a glossary of terms etc.

At the moment there’s no way to open them quickly without disrupting the current arrangement of windows and documents – you have to click on the favourite, then open it from the new layout, then switch the focus back to where you were etc. All simple enough to do, but less simple than right-clicking on the document in the sidebar and choosing ‘Open’.

As I said, minor, but if it’s easy to do, it would be welcome at some point.

Thanks…

If you double-click a file in the Favorites, it opens in a document window (on in the system default app, if you have Preferences > General > Double-click opens documents externally enabled).

Ok - I do open a lot of documents in Emacs (use the shortcut as well) so can’t use that, but it’s good to know the option is there. The context menu would be nice, at some point, but as I said, it’s small beer in the grand scheme of things.

Thanks!
