Outline what you’re specifically struggling with.
And I also strongly recommend you “play” with it.
In my experience, and I think I can say I share this with many users in the forum, is that you learn how to use DT by using it.
Start with the specific problem you want to solve (you can post about it here if you need help!). For example, my specific problem that led me to DT was that I had files across different filing systems and was struggling to find things when I needed them. DT was my solution as it gave me a specific box to put everything in and then sort it according to my needs.
While you’re solving the immediate problem that led you to DT, you will learn how to do other things, and suddenly realise so many other uses. (E.g. DT isn’t just a “filing system” for me - it’s where I do most my thinking, write notes, and store things I want to return to.)
Also, read the forums. That’s where I get most my ideas for use from
