New group "text" created in inbox when starting DT

I’m getting a new group created in the global inbox each time DT starts. The group is named “text” and is empty. Version is 3.9 though I noticed it in at least the version just prior to 3.9. I suspected a smart rule was creating it. If it is a smart rule then it is one of the built-in rules as this is on a newly installed machine where I haven’t yet added back my own.

  • Anyone else seeing this?
  • Any ideas what to look at?

  1. Quit DEVONthink.
  2. In the Finder, hold the Option key and choose Go > Library.
  3. Go into the Application Support/DEVONthink 3/Inbox folder. If you see the folders in here you can safely delete them.
  4. Relaunch DEVONthink.
