For years I synced several macs and iPads (with DTG 3) using WebDav (on a Synology NAS) without a problem. After installing DTG 4 on the ipads I can no longer setup a working sync. I installed DTG 3 and 4 in parallel, and 3 works, 4 doesnt. Is there an explanation?
What error messages do you get? Does the log window show anything?
Iâm probably of limited help. I sync everything via a USB SSD drive.
Sync is not the same thing as backup, of course.

The error only occurs with DEVONthink to Go 4 on the iPad. Synchronisation works without any problems on the Mac.

BTW: I only stated /Syncstore, the .dtCloud was added by Devon.
Please provide more details, like screenshots of the settings on Mac and iPad.
I have the exact same setup and no problems, so something must be different in your situation.
And you might want to remove DTTG3. Thereâs no point having both installed.
I think I found the reason for the problem. I use quiet complex passwords with special characters. Obviously these can cause problems in combination with webdav and ios. In any case, I set a simple password without any special characters as a test, and everything has been working smoothly ever since.
What are a few âspecial charactersâ you used?
I often use #, @, + and %
