I have been away from the Mac for several years-the last system that I used was system 8-even then I didn’t use Applescript. I bought a Macbook about a month ago, and have been loving it. The reason that I bought a Mac was that I wanted to be able to use Devonthink. On the Windows side, there is nothing like it.
I have been trying out Devonthink for a while now, and it does much that i want to be able to do. However, there are some things that I know can be done, but one needs to be able to use Applescript. In particular, I would like to be able to set up some smart folders. Also, I am a user of NetNewsWire 3.0, and would love to be able to save stuff from there into DT.
So, I need a couple of kinds of help. First, I need help learning Applescript. Second, I need specific help with Applescript and DT.
Any help is welcome.
