typically after I use the hat icon (see also?), following a search of a phrase and a PDF, I’m sent to another PDF. Can I search it without losing my previous search? It seems that whenever I try my tracks are lost in a new search.
I am unclear on what steps you are taking and what results you could possibly be seeing (sent to another PDF?) here. Would it be possible to describe step-by step what you are doing, and what you mean by ‘sent to another PDF’? Screen shots might also be helpful if you could post them.
Also as another suggestion, posting your questions with a subject line that is more descriptive than ‘Newbie Question’ will always help in getting a response, and will also help users in the future when searching the forums by subject.
