No Backup Folder

When I go into the DB package/contents I do not have a backup folder. My backup seems to be designated as DEVONthink-1.dtMeta~ etc. all the way to 10. I’ve tried deleting quitting etc, but the folder never shows. Any idea why?

I’m using DT Pro Office.

Check your settings in Preferences > Backup. What’s the schedule for backups (I checked daily). How many Backup folders should exist (the default is 3, which I use)?

I had Weekly but then changed it to Daily to see what would happen. No folders were created just more DEVONthink-1.dtMeta~ files.
I had one checked then changed it to 3. No difference.

OK, switching to Hourly then quitting created a folder.
Along with another 10 DEVONthink-1.dtMeta~ files.
