I believe this problem has emerged since upgrading to 10.4
Previously when dragging an image from a web page into a ‘vertical split’ DT window, DT would import the image and automatically drop its URL into the [URL] box
This was a major time-saver
No more URL now
… preferences set to ‘copy files to database folder’ [unchanged]
