I’ve noticed that DTG and DTP (Mac) display a generic thumbnail for a formatted text note created in DTG – until it is edited in DTP, after which the notes will be displayed on both platforms with a thumbnail indicating the contents.

Is thumbnailing of formatted notes enabled in Preferences > Media on the Mac?

In that case it’s working as expected on the Mac, just disable the option to retain the generic icon.
But I don’t want the generic icon!

Why isn’t DTG creating a thumbnail for new notes, or do I have to edit a formatted note in order to have DTP create a thumbnail for it?
That’s not yet supported by DEVONthink To Go.
