Note Services to DT in 10.6.x

Anyone running 10.6.x that can tell me if the Clip to DEVONthink extension in Safari isn’t working correctly? I don’t have a Snow Leopard install handy and it’s working fine in Lion. Here’s the symptoms…

If I am using the services clipper in Safari and DT is not already running the clipping is never added to the inbox on the first time. Repeatable. To reproduce have Safari running but not DEVONthink. Select text, then Safari, Service and either take rich note or take plain note. DT is started but the clipping is not saved. I would expect that the clipping would be saved no matter whether DT had to be started first or not.
