NSPOSIXErrorDomain 24 - Error Importing a Database

Hello,

i wanted to import a Database from a local Syncstore.
The syncstore is located on a SMB mounted share on OS X.

A few minutes after starting the import, i get the following warning and the sync stops:

Der Vorgang konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden. Zu viele offene Dateien	
Zu viele offene Dateien (NSPOSIXErrorDomain 24)

How can i fix that?

There are a few other clients, that already have a copy of the database and sync continuously without getting any errors.

Which version of DEVONthink/macOS do you use? Does it work after reducing the number of concurrent connections (see Preferences > Sync)?

Hi,
i’m using DevonThink 2.10.1 and MacOS 10.13.6.

I have also opened a ticket (#861668) for this problem.
Reducing the number of concurrent connections didn’t help.

2 days later I started another attempt, importing the database.
(same settings - default number of concurrent connections)
the error message reappeared, but this time the synchronization was not interrupted.

So i could import the database.
