OCR and beta: How to "purchase"

Hope this isn’t too silly a question:

I’m using the 2.0 beta, and it states that I am “unregistered” (though I indeed purchased DevonThink Office Pro 1.x, April 27, 2008).

I’m running into the daily OCR limitation, and the application asks me to “purchase” the app to lose the limit. Do I have an upgrade path, or is this a beta issue?

Well 2.0 is an upgrade to 1.x. You’ll have to purchase an upgrade when the beta expires. OCR may be a special case (it’s a separate product and DEVON may have to pay the OCR folks or something). I know I purchased the upgrade and do not get the warning message.
