I would like DTPO to OCR an indexed PDF document, but then leave it where it is. The OCRed file shall replace the old file, and not create and import a new version into the database.
Is this possible? I know I can use other solutions (Acrobat) too, but I want to do it this way.
But doing that creates a new file imports the converted PDF into the database, instead of leaving it where it was.
As a final step, select the new searchable PDF, right-click, and select “Move to External Folder”. The document will now be exported out to the same Finder folder that contained the original PDF.
