OCR to searchable PDF creates two replicants

Is the option to exclude groups from tagging (see File > Database Properties) enabled (default) or disabled? Are you able to reproduce this?

Hi

The option to exclude groups from tagging (see File > Database Properties ) is enabled.

I can repeat this with the same file and other jpegs dragged from mail in the same way.

Are you also able to reproduce this using a new database? Do you use the latest version 3.8.7?

What does your smart rule look like?
How many smart rules are you running, especially those that may affect the same group?

The few smart rules I run are “on demand” and none involve OCR

None. They are moved “ by hand”. Dragged to the group they should be in.
