One database won't sync to iCloud

I have several DT3 databases stored on my Mac. I just noticed that one is not syncing to my iPad.

I’ve unchecked this database and checked it again to no avail. I’ve unchecked iCloud under Locations and checked it again, also to no avail. I’ve closed the database and re-opened it, I’ve closed DT3 and re-opened it … nothing. In DT/Preferences/Sync/Databases, I’ve right clicked on the database and clicked “Synchronize Database”, but nothing happens. The other databases sync just fine, and they’re all stored in the same place. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

What’s reported in Window > Log?

Ah! Didn’t check there. It says:

Can’t create folder of Database “Library”, path exists already.

What do I do about that?

Did you set up syncing to iCloud in DEVONthink To Go before setting up the Mac?

Hi Jim,

It’s been a while since I did this, so I can’t say for certain, but my guess is I did the Mac first.

Not sure. And still unable to sync. Any advice?

Clean the Library database in the sync location and try syncing again.

That did it. Thanks much (as always).

You’re welcome
