I am trying to find a backup solution for my database which only backups some groups and preserve the manual order of the records.
I tried exporting those groups as files & folder. But it seems I loose the manual order of the records.
Any hints?
Background:
I work on a book and decided to keep not only my notes and the outline but really everything for my projekt within DTP (tons of research pdfs, sketches etc). So my database is growing fast.
I have backups to harddisks at home (daily) and offsite (two times a month) where size dosn’t matter. But I have a daily online backup for all really important things and here size is a problem. Research pdfs and sketches don’t change as much and I won’t mind loosing some of them in the unlikely case of theft or fire. But my notes and the outline are crucial.
