Hi
Is it possible to password protect the Inbox database? (I am using version Pro)

Afaik: no. The inbox is just a (special) folder, I think. And as there’s no password protection for folders in macOS…
In “Database Properties” for the Inbox Database provides place to enter user and password. I don’t know what it does. Perhaps review the “DEVONthink Manual” for possible advice.

Right, I didn’t think about that. Thanks!
In the end it’s not possible to protect the global inbox. Only encrypted databases support this.

The global inbox is a database, the inbox in the Finder’s sidebar (and in Save dialogs) is a folder.
