Password protection

I understand that the DevonPro database is no encrypted and is protected simply by password. I’m starting to worry about all my stuff falling into the wrong hands and am wondering what is recommended for maximum data protection. I tried running the database from a Knox encrypted volume but then began to worry that this might prompt instability–although I had no bad experiences.

Any views from other forum members would be appreciated.

A simple and very secure approach is to store the database in an encrypted disk image. You can create a disk image file using Apple’s Disk Utility application.

Don’t forget your password, as that’s 128-bit encryption.
